He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Masters and Melinda Masters; his grandson Jason Masters; his brother Gordon Masters; his parents-in-law, James and Florence Piercey; his sisters-in-law, Wavy Piercey and Nora Piercey; his stepfather-in-law Davy Marshe; and his brothers-in-law, Merlin Piercey and Jim Stanley.

He is survived by: his wife Madeline; his children, Judy (Don Peach) of Grand Bank, Bruce (Marilyn) of Mount Pearl, David (Joanne) of Fortune, Gregory (Darlene) of Fortune, Kathy (Darren Charters) of Corner Brook and Michael of Fortune; his grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff), Susan (Rick), Steven, Zachary (Tracey), Rebecca (Cody) and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Parker, Jaxsen, Taylor, Amelia, Adelyn, McKinley, Charlotte and Norah; his sister Addie Grandy (Len); and his siblings-in-law, Gertrude Masters, Nellie Stanley, Dawn Piercey and Fred Piercey.
