With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James William Meade of Grand Bank, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Meade and Marie Meade; and his brother-in-law Jake Simms (Blanche). He is survived by: his wife Minnie Meade; his children, James (Rachel), Jason (Andrea) and Tina (Byron); his grandchildren, Cody, Paige, Erika, Jada and Gage; his sisters, Darlene Welcher (Joe) and Diane Abbott; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Eavis, Mary Dominix (George), Hazel Hillier (Edward), Chris Simms and Alex Simms (Wanda).
The Meade Family will be accepting visitors to celebrate James' life at Wiseman's Funeral Home in Grand Bank on: Thursday, May 21, 2026 2:00PM - 4:00PMIn James's memory donations may be made to The St. Alban's Anglican Church.
