He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline Slaney; his parents, Vincent Hennebury and Kathleen Hennebury; and his siblings, Vincent Jr., Marcel, Howard Hennebury and Frances Jackman (Jim).

He is survived by: his siblings, Muriel Cuza (Albert) of St. Lawrence, Mary Hemmens (Pete) of Ontario, Shirley Mayo (Gerald) of Greens Harbour, Kathy Foote (Steve) of Ontario, Hubert Hennebury (Joyce) of Lord's Cove, Clyde Hennebury (Gail) of Lord's Cove, Tom Hennebury of Lord's Cove and Freddie Hennebury of St. Lawrence; and his brother-in-law Ignatius Slaney (Jeanette) of Flat Rock.

In Ray's memory, donations may be made to the Lord's Cove Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund.
