She was predeceased by: her husband Stephan; her parents, Frank Hardiman and Hilda Hardiman; her parents-in-law, William and Marian Grandy; her sisters, Clara Grandy and Mildred Harris; and her siblings-in-law, Uriah Caines, Earl Grandy, Curtis Grandy, Lloyd Grandy, Wayne Grandy, Rueben Cluett, Samual Harris, George Price, Rita Hardiman and Linda Grandy.

She is survived by: her children, Craig Grandy (Elaine Noseworthy Grandy), Angela Grandy (Dan Daigle), Kimberley Grandy and Jennifer Grandy (Rodney Clarke); her grandchildren, Tara (Trevor), Taylor (Amber), Samantha (Matthew), Adam (Katera) and William; her great grandchildren, Carter, Kenley, Cohen, Emma, Noah, Maria, Crew, Kelsea and Madelyn; her siblings, Rowena Caines, Almeda Grandy, Roy Hardiman, Marsh Hardiman (Joan), Dorothy Cluett, Cora Price and Marilyn Smith (Peter); and her sisters-in-law, Judy Cooper (George), Aleta Grandy and Meta Marsh (Cedric). She is also survived by her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In Shirley's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Giles Anglican Church Building Fund or the Parkinson's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
