He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Miller and Ella Miller (Senior); his stepmother Winnie (Harnum); his brother Wycliffe Miller; his parents-in-law, Charles and Lillian Follett; and his siblings-in-law, George Follett and Sherry Snook.

He is survived by : his wife Joan; his children, Cheryl Mallard (Stephen) of Paradise, Robert (Denise) of St. John and Colin (Cara) of Toronto, ON; his siblings, Jean Pearce (Calvin), Lorraine Miller-Hamlyn (Arthur) and Roy Miller (Helen); his siblings-in-law, Charlie Follett, Harold Follett (Maxine), Frank Follett (Patricia) and Sharon Follett; his grandchildren, Victoria (Emil Rossen), Rebecca (Adam Green), Susan, Robyn, James and Elizabeth; and his great grandchildren, Penelope and Otis Green.

In Wilfred's memory, donations may be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation or the Grand Bank United Church.
