He was predeceased by : his wife Verbena; and his parents, Alonzo Sr. Saunders and Emily Saunders. He is survived by : his daughter Sarah; his siblings, Edward (late Josephine), Nellie (late Brendon), Anne (late Allan), Clotilda (late Michael), Loretta (late Harold) and Elizabeth (late Ted); his parents-in-law, Alexander and Lilian Gillard; his sister-in-law Alma; his children, Raymond (Evelyn) and Barbara (Garry); his grandchildren, Cory (Stella), Tanya (Andrew), Jonathan (Stephanie), Shaylyn and Jenelle (Loralie); his great grandchildren, Brooklynn (Colin), Dawson, Jacob, Benjamin, Kallie, Liam and Olivia; his great great grandchild Oaklynn; his siblings, Alonzo Jr. (late Gladys), Mary (late Frank) and Isabelle (late Leonard); his siblings-in-law, Steward (late Joyce), Minnie (late Harvey), Leona (Ralph) and Vina (Sam); and his friend Winston Sharpe (Verlie).
