He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb and Ivy. He is survived by: his son Todd Osmond (Melissa); his grandchildren, Jessica (Dimitri), Jason (Allyssa) and Jordan (Matt); his great grandchild Kaileb; his siblings, Ches (Wavy), Wilson (Hazel), Marion, Shirley (George), Linda, Lois, Christine, Clar, Ron, Joyce and Irene; and his brothers-in-law, Joe, Ross, Calvin and Dave.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre or the Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
