Daphne Laura Saunders Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daphne Laura Saunders (Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daphne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Noseworthy and Samuel Noseworthy of Leading Tickles, NL; her husband Arthur Saunders; and her sons, Terry and Ralph Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Saunders, Justin Saunders (Sarah), Donna Saunders, Judy Alhani, Nola Saunders (Rex Sacrey) and Penny Saunders. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
