Edith Louise Head Obituary

We announce the death of Edith Louise Head (Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 101. Edith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Burt and Elizabeth Burt; her husband Herbert Stanley Hollett; her siblings, Cavelle Oake, Florence Callahan, Clarence and Edgar Burt; her son-in-law Dennis Bartlett; and her granddaughter Marsha Bartlett.

She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Bartlett, Marlene Hollett and Sheila Callahan (Craig); her grandchildren, Lisa Bartlett (Wayne), Justin Hollett (Courtney) and Andrew Callahan; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Saige and Willow; her sister Betty King; her sister-in-law Violet Burt; her nieces and nephews, Viola (Melv), Judy (Wayne), Linda, Clifford, Ken (Beulah) and Alvin; and her close friends, Freeman, Susan Stagg, Glenn and Debbie Harnum.
