She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earle and Mildred Earle; her grandson Daniel Furey; and her brother-in-law Jim Kemp. She is survived by: her husband Arthur; her children, William Symonds (Kelley) and Kimberly Furey (Douglas); her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Harushimana (Etienne), Alexander Symonds (Apryl), Laura and Lacey Furey; her great grandchildren, Amia and Anezi Harushimana; and her siblings, Frederick Earle (Joan), Clara Earle and Verna Kemp. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Ethel was actively involved in the Parkinson's Society, as her mother had Parkinson's disease.
