He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, William O'Reilly and Alice O'Reilly; his grandson Ronan; and his siblings, Rita, Monica, Bill, Marie and Theresa.

He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Kathy), Maureen (Tom), Stephen (Holly) and Sean (Vanessa); his grandchild Dana; and his brother John (Mary).
