She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Terri-Lynn Evans and Ashley Budgell (Dave); her grandchildren, Hailey Budgell, Braden and Jacob Evans; her mother Myrtle Hobbs; her siblings, Wanda Stroud (Lee), Annette Hobbs (Kater), Cindy Pittman (Trent), Debbie Hobbs, Marilyn Sooley, Jimmy Hobbs and Bruce Powell (Susan); the father of her children Terry Higgins; her friends, Liz Burt and Gladys Bishop; her father James Hobbs; her grandparents, Edward, Sarah Jane Hobbs, Earl and Martha Powell; and her brother-in-law Terry Sooley.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls–Windsor.
