With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Joseph O'Reilly of Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O'Reilly and Frances O'Reilly; and his son Damian O'Reilly. He is survived by: his wife Ruth O'Reilly; his children, Kimberly O'Reilly (Karl Parsons) and Tenaha O'Reilly (Angela O'Reilly); his grandchild Zora O'Reilly; and his great grandchild Aiden Keenan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (10 Bayley St, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2A2T5). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception (8 Church Rd, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2A1Z2).
