He was predeceased by: his parents, Gasper and Charlotte; his parents-in-law, George and Jessie Evans; his brother-in-law Max Evans; and his close friend Bill Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Patey; his children, Ted Lethbridge (Loretta), Rana Patey (Peter) and Anne Blackwood (Craig); his granddaughters, Sabrina Lethbridge, Cassie Lethbridge and Samantha Blackwood; his great grandchild Noah; his sister Juanita Ashmore (Allan); his siblings-in-law, Junior Evans (Emily), Keith Evans (Barb), Marie Osbourne (Aubrey) and Anne Evans; and his close friends, Calvin Nicholas, Jean Ollerhead and Karen Patey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (12 Earle St, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2B1E8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alban's Anglican Church.
