With sadness, we share the passing of Robert McCarthy (Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland). Robert, born on January 10, 1965, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McCarthy and Bernice Tilley; his nephews, Steven McCarthy, Codi Lambert, David Wade McCarthy Jr. and Matthew David Beatty; his brother-in-law Roger Crewe; and his grandparents, Lawrence, Lillian McCarthy, Frederick and Muriel Tilley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Crewe, Victoria Clark (Tony), Sean McCarthy (Bernice), David McCarthy (Diane), Brian McCarthy and Judy Beatty (David). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (12 Earle St, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2B1E8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Parish (5 Station Rd, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2A1M5).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobs memory may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice. Donations may be given directly to the hospice or through the family, with all funds received being forwarded to support the hospice important work.
