She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Head and Mildred Head; her husband Gerald Whitt; and her siblings, Robina, Barry and Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Gaskell (Bob) and Lindy Whitt (Gail); her grandchildren, Tyler Gaskell (Jessica), Crystal Adrian (Clinton), Whitney Gaskell, Ashton Whitt (Danielle) and Victoria Thornley (Andrew); her stepgrandchildren, Aaron Noseworthy (Nichole) and Arielle Cox (Jamie); and her brothers, Valmond (Vera), Eugene (Loretta), Gary (Stella) and Austin (Faye). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (10 Bayley St, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2A2T5). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 33 Circular Rd, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2A1A8.
