He was predeceased by: his former wife Sadie Hurley; his parents, Archibald Hurley and Patience Hurley of Comfort Cove; and his siblings, Herbert, Heber, Claude, Wilson, Bramwell, Ada, Mod and Winnie.
He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Terry (Angie), Dennis (Phoebe), Ruby (Lloyd), Beverly, Diane (Tony), Winnie (Tony), Ivan (Deloris), Wayne and Pauline (Danny); and his brother Pleaman. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (271 Water St, Botwood, NL A0H1E0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
