Vera Miller Obituary
We bid farewell to Vera Miller of Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Vera touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard; her parents, Clarence Brown and Agnus Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Earle, Hubert Spurrell, Ray Downton, Kenneth Miller and Reginald Earle.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Downey (Junior), Jennifer Miller, Bruce Miller, Wayne Miller (Deb), Glenn Miller (Sue) and Trevor Miller (Tina); her grandchildren, Melanie Coleman (Matt), Chad Downey (Meghan), Brandi, Austin Miller, Jayden Miller and Evan Miller; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Mya Coleman and Levi Downey; her siblings, Clar Brown (Nancy), Mary Matthews, Bernice Richards (Joe), Laura Downton (Ray) and Maxine Spurrell (Hubert); and her sister-in-law Judy Miller. She is also survived by her extended family & many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (10 Bayley St, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL A2A2T5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
