She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Bussey; her parents, Lotriph Burt and Bertha Burt (Hillier) of Green's Harbour, NL; her sisters, Hazel (late Orestus Pope) and Vera (Dolph Crant) of Gaultois, NL; and her siblings-in-law, Albert Bussey (Judy), Harold Bussey (Melvie), Reginald Bussey, Jack Bussey (Sheila) and Greta (Havelock Jacobs).
She is survived by: her children, David Bussey and Sarah (Shawn Tapper); her grandchildren, Ethan Bussey, Kayle and Shauna Hann-Tapper; her pet Smokey; her in-laws, Valance Bussey, Lester Bussey (Bonnie), Nelson Bussey (Dianne), Hazel (Leroy Gee) and Vincent; and her friends, Gail Tippett, Rose O'Flaherty and Violet Ruelokke. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
