He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Parsons and Agnes Mae Parsons; his in-laws, Pleaman and Maude Weir; his brothers, Cecil Parsons, Alfred Parsons and Douglas Brett (Gertrude); his brother-in-law Calvin Weir; his nephews, Eddie Parsons, Randy Parsons, Tommy Parsons, Charlie Parsons, Royburn Brett, Todd Brett and Cory Weir; and his niece Ruth Wells.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his daughters, Jackie Hampden (Willie Hamlyn), Lana Corner Brook (Terrance Parsons), Laura Hampden (Sheldon Guy) and Dianne Roddickton (Conrad Rowsell); his granddaughter Kiley Rowsell; his in-laws, Florence Parsons, Don Weir (Ada), Grant, Woodrow, Jean (Tony Hemeon), Ross, Belinda (Floyd Hodder), Shirley (Shawn Randell) and Judy Weir; and his nieces and nephews, Wayne Parsons, Cecil Brett, Marcy Chaulk and Connie Weir. He is also survived by siblings.
