He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Abbott; his children, Denise and Clifford; his parents, Clifford Abbott and Muriel Abbott; and his siblings, Duncan, Claude, Lucy and Ione.

He is survived by: his partner Majorie Vatcher; his children, Sandra (Ken) and Keith; his grandchildren, Brandy, Ashley (Max), Christopher, Kianna and Kaleigh; his great grandchildren, Octavia, Conner, Parker and Amelia; his children-in-law, Dwayne and Lana; and his close friend Debbie Janes (Gary). He is also survived by relatives, and many friends.
