With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Mike Tshenish Rich (Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anthony and Betty; and his grandfathers, Patrick Rich and Joseph Mark Gregoire. He is survived by: his parents, Emma Rich and Mike Gregoire; his daughter Edith Tshakapesh; his siblings, Jamal, Lorne, Austin, Trevor, Joel, Anne Philomena, Sabrina, Charity and Bertha; and his grandmothers, Marie Kateri Rich and Suzanne Rich.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (45 Aspen Rd, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at the Roman Catholic Church.
