She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Maidment; her children, Gloria and George; her parents, Harriet Cooper and Plymouth Cooper; her siblings, Melvin, Clayton, Valentine, Gene, Ralph, Charlie, Gwen and Dulcie; and her granddaughter Tammy.
She is survived by: her children, Frank (Pam), Brenda (Albert), Cathy (Rod) and Lisa (Curtis); her siblings, Paul Cooper (Trudy) and Joan Bowyer (Robert); her grandchildren, Sheri, Edward, Lynn, Terry, Mark, Brian, Leanne, Bradley, Michael and Tara; Diane.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (45 Aspen Rd, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the United Church (105 Hamilton River Rd, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P1E0).
