He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Patey and Edith Patey; and his sister Effie. He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his son Jerry (Doris); his grandsons, Eric (Wendy), Marcus (Chelsea) and Michael (Brad); his great grandchildren, Landon, Mackenzie, Riley, Logan and Diana; and his brothers, Eric, Jerry, Dennis, Alvin and Larry.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (45 Aspen Rd, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Church.
