He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burden and Dorothy Burden; and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his wife Lily May; his children, Garry (Miriam), William Buck (Cathy), Bonnie (Bob) and Shawn (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Shane, Justin, Daniel, Chelie, Robyn, Kerra and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Kendall, Beau, Kensley, Gracie, Lincoln and Abigail; and his siblings, Fred (Vio) and Clara (Harold). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of NL and flowers will be accepted.
