We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2026, at the age of 89, Audrey Winnie Rideout (Harbour Breton, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Loveless and May Loveless; her son Keith; her parents-in-law, Maggie and Curtis Rideout; her siblings, Joe (Muriel), Wesley, Alma (Ray), Carrie (Gerald) and Annie (John); and her siblings-in-law, Sidney Rideout (Shirley), Allan Rideout, Joe Loveless and Nita Loveless (Bert).
She is survived by: her husband Roy; her children, Basil (Rosalind), Fern Richmond (Wilbert) and Penny Rose (Todd); her grandchildren, Ryan Rideout (Cammie), Tyler Rideout, Jenna Parsons (Jeff), Megan Weir, Trent Rideout (Josie), Devin Richmond and Suanne Stockley (Kirk); her great grandchildren, Issac Rideout, Jacob Rideout, Addison Parsons, Layla Stockley, Greyson Rideout, Ciana Rideout, Jackson Weir and Emmett Rideout; her daughter-in-law Jody Rideout; her brother Doug; her sisters-in-law, Irene, Lydia and Margaret; and her niece Maria Bungay. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salvation Army Citadel (44 Church Rd, Seal Cove, NL A0H2G0). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
