He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Ellen (Hickey); his siblings, Lawrence, Aiden, Rosalyn and Paulette; his wife Mildred; his children, June (Roy), Glen (Sheri), Keith (Joanne) and Mark (Tina); his grandchildren, Laura, Lucas, Daniel and Katelyn; and his stepgrandchildren, Skyler and Logan.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda, Helen (Elijah) and Salome (Jason).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Parish in Harbour Breton.
