She was predeceased by : her sister Winnie Loveless (Carl); her husband Claude Smith; her grandson Kerry Jarvis; her sisters, Effie Langdon and Marjorie; and her brother-in-law Calvin Loveless.

She is survived by : her daughters, Thelma (Wilfred), Joann (Rex) and Loretta (Peter); her grandchildren, Robbie, Jenita, Jeremy, Jessica, Taylor and Morgan; her brother Andrew Harris (Audrey); and her siblings-in-law, Hubert Smith and Grace Smith.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Seal Cove, Fortune Bay Corps.
