It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacob Simms of Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 3, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Blanche; his parents, Simeon Simms and Gertrude Simms; and his brothers, Chesley Simms, Thomas Simms and Garfield Simms.

He is survived by : his children, Yvonne Syed, Amy Krell (Tom), Rick (Neva), Wade (Loretta), Greg (Debbie), Corey (Barbara) and David (Martha); his siblings, Minnie Meade (James), Elizabeth Eavis, Mary Dominix (George), Hazel Hillier (Edward), Chris Simms and Alex Simms (Wanda); and his caregivers, Jane Pierce and Edith Skinner. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
