It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Simms of Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 19, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his common-law partner Madeline Coombs; his parents, James R. Simms and Ettie Simms; his siblings, Stanley Simms, Harther Simms, Eric Simms (Ada) and Winnie Kendell; and his sister-in-law Norma Simms.
He is survived by : his daughter Jane (Keith); his grandson Gavin (Judy); his great grandchildren, Jonah (Alaina) and Lucas; his siblings, Tom Simms (Annabelle), Ronald Simms (Jane), Garfield Simms and Hazel Newport (Gordon); and his brother-in-law Earl Kendell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
