He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Norman and Bridget Bungay; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Effie Jackman; his brothers, James, William and Norman; his sister-in-law Sylvia Jackman; and his siblings' children, Alice Smith, Allison Jackman, Darryl, Josh and Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Jennifer (Megan), Christopher (Tina) and Jason (Angela); his grandchildren, Megan (Cameron), Gracie and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Blake, James and Caisey; his siblings, Max (Emily), Fred (Elaine), Ed (Winnie), Roy (Sharon), Joan and Beatrice Benoit (Paul); his siblings-in-law, Sheila Bungay, Ada Bungay, Diane Bungay, Bonnie Cox (Bob), Patsy Jackman (Randy), Gerald Jackman, Baxter Jackman (Betty), Bruce Jackman and Stephen Jackman (Rachelle); and his close friend Janie Powell. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Spencer's Funeral Home (190 Canada Dr, Harbour Breton, NL A0H 1P0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church.
