He was predeceased by : his sons, Wade and Terry; his parents, Charles Skinner and Phoebe Skinner; and his parents-in-law, Velma Osborne and Archibald Osborne.

He is survived by : his wife Una; his children, Walter (Wanda), Andy (Treena), Phoebe (Curt) and Sheri (Craig); his daughter-in-law Marie Skinner; and his siblings, Ronald Skinner (Alice), Basil (Betty), Lloyd Miles (Jennie), Minnie, Josephine, Leona, Eliza, Falls, Ida Blackmore and Frances Peters.
