He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kendell and Nora Kendell; his siblings, George, Johnny, Mildred, Josephine and Bessie; his nieces and nephews, Elaine Pierce, Goldie Pierce, Valerie, Corey and John; his daughter-in-law Thelma Kendell; and his grandchildren, Skylar and Destiny.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite; his children, Adam (Melissa) of Conne River, Nora Elmezughi (Ahmed) of Calgary and Claudine Kendell (Brandon) of Fort McMurray; and his siblings, Gerald (Rose) of Fort McMurray, Ken (Linda) of Edmonton, Eric (Marjorie) of Milltown, Leo (Genevive) of St. Alban's, Claude (Christine) of St. Alban's, Sandra Kendell of Edmonton and Goldie Kettle (Terry).
