We bid farewell to Gordon Tetford of Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 21, 2025. Gordon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Frances; his parents, Robert Tetford and Lily Tetford; his brothers, Robert (Betty) and Gerald (Olive); and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Bulmer (Howard), Lena Mackinley (Robert), Helen Jean Arnold (Frank), Dody Creighton (Jim), Eileen Lobban (Byron) and Betty Barrett (Hal).
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Sheppard (Paul), Cindy Tetford, David (Gloria) and Jamey; his grandsons, Matthew, Christopher (Meaghan), Andrew (Alison), Colin (Meredith), Brian (Megan) and Mark (Jenelle); his great grandchildren, Jackson, William, Eddie, Hugo, Caden and Gibson; and his friends, Llew and Karen Noel.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Noel's Funeral Home (21 Harvey St, Harbour Grace, NL A0A2M0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Coughlan United Church (6 Water St W, Harbour Grace, NL A0A2M0).
