He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, John and Fannie; his siblings, Donald and Doreen French; and his mother-in-law Elsie Yetman.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher (Michelle) and Glynn; his granddaughters, Ashley (D. J.) and Julie (Issac); his sisters, Bernice McGrath (Jerome) and Linda Whalen (late Steven); his siblings-in-law, George French and Alfreda Noseworthy; and his caregiver Rosalind.
