He was predeceased by : his parents, Ron As and Catherine Martin As (Peddle). He is survived by : his wife Irene Martin; his children, James Martin (Lori) and Lynn Colyn (Dan); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Paige and Kyle.

Donations may be made in his loving memory to O'Shaughnessy House, Baccalieu Trail SPCA or the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank.
