She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice; her parents, Enas Barnes and Mary Barnes; and her siblings, Peter (Shirley), Cyril and Philomena Sheppard (Bill).
She is survived by: her close friend Bob Andrews; her children, Philomena Parsons (Gerald), Irene Penney (Art) and Maurice; her grandchildren, Robert (Shelly), Gerald and Amanda (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Tia, Grace, Aivah, Edem, Xavier and Emmah; and her close friends, Amy Dwyer and Berkley Reynolds.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Noel's Funeral Home (21 Harvey St, Harbour Grace, NL A0A2M0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (52 NL-94, Riverhead, NL A0A3P0).
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
