He was predeceased by : his parents, Gladys Yetman (Bone) of Newcastle and James Yetman of Harbour Grace, Newfoundland.; and his siblings, Lorna of Dartmouth, Audrey Romkey (John) of Dartmouth, Sheilah MacLeod (John) of Dartmouth, Avis Wentzell (Neil) of Dartmouth and Gerald of North Sydney.

He is survived by : his wife June Cole Harbour (Leck); his children, Wayne (Deborah) of Ottawa, Richard (April), Gordon of Dartmouth and Flora of Cole Harbour; his grandchildren, Dene (Bobbi), Darran, Natasha, Alexandria, Hannah and Josiah; his great grandchild Jorja; his brother Robert Yetman of Eastern Passage; and his brother-in-law Neil.
