It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Dalton (Holyrood, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Dalton and Frances Dalton; and the mother of his children Josephine Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his children, Frankie (Kenneth), Dwayne (Denise) and Gerri Lynn (Tony); his siblings, Marie (Paddy), Colleen and Don; his grandchildren, Ronald (Shannon), Tyler (Andrea) and Erica (Conor); and his great grandchild Michael James.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunphy's Funeral Home (366 Conception Bay Hwy, Holyrood, NL A0A2R0). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 10:30 PM. The inurnment will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Columbarium at Sts.
In lieu of flowers donations in Michael's memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
