Nellie B. Watkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021, Nellie B. Watkins of Herring Neck, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fudge and Louise Fudge; her husband Pleamon; her great grandchildren, Theodore and Jonah; her brothers, Frederick Card (Olive) and Stewart Fudge (Jessie); and her son-in-law Winston Burt.
She is survived by: her children, Thelma Hurley (Bonnell), Pearl Burt, Loretta Holwell (David) and Bruce (Karen); her grandchildren, Glen (Twyla), Sherri-Lynn (Daryl), Vance (Coralee), Bobby (Stacey), Angie (Guy), Mark (Raye), Paul and Lesley (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Jack, Aidan, Kara, Xaiver, Rachel, Brooke, Kaitlyn and Ryker. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, extended relatives and friends.
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority, at this time a private funeral service will be held on Monday January 18, 2021 for invited guests.
Donations may be made in Nellie's honour to St. Mary's Anglican Church, Herring Neck.
