With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfreda Beth (Betty) Whalen of Hickmans Harbour, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 86. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Morley; her children, Brian (Brenda), Darren (Debbie) and Cindy (John); and her grandchildren, Rob, Sarah, James, Sean of Aaron, D. J., Janelle, Kyrianne and Jonathan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vardy's Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Church. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the United Church Cemetery.
