We announce the death of Lloyd Currie (Hickmans Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Currie and Effie Currie; his sister Linda Bernice Currie; and his wife Jane Currie. He is survived by: his children, Linda (Gary), Kirk (Karen) and Brian (Vanette). He is also survived by his four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vardy's Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Britannia United Church (985 Pinecrest Rd, Ottawa, ON K2B6B4). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the United Church Cemetery.
