Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ronald Leslie Vardy of Hickmans Harbour, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 85, on July 29, 2023. He was predeceased by : his daughter Marie; his parents, Heman Vardy and Miriam Vardy; his siblings, Gilbert, Wilson, John (Annie), Lorraine Pittman, Karen Herrison (J. J.) and Florence (A. J.); and his parents-in-law, John and Laura Belle Marsh.
He is survived by : his wife Shirley; his children, Marilyn Vardy, Rhonda Vardy (Ibrahim Bac) and Tony (Ashmita); his grandchildren, Ali Bac, Matthew, Annabelle Tatchell, Alexander, Connor and Liam Vardy; his brother Robert; and his brother-in-law Lester Pittman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.
