Violet Woolridge Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Woolridge (Hickmans Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Hurdle and Amy Hurdle; her husband Bill; her siblings, Rita Quinton (Jack), Mary Ann Tremblett, Alfred Hurdle and George Hurdle; and her brother-in-law Arthur Fry.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Woolridge (Joanne), Patsy Hollohan (Ken), Darlene Hiscock (Corey) and Roxanne Cole (Josh); her grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Jennifer and Alisha; her sisters, Alma Bellows (Alf) and Stella Fry; and her siblings-in-law, Wallace Tremblett, Christine Morris and Pearl Hurdle.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd Dunfield. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Anglican Cemetery (33 NL-237 #57, Catalina, NL A0C1J0).
