He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Pitcher and Rachel Pitcher (Smith); his wife Johanna; and his siblings, Arch, Luke, Lizzie, Bill, Phyllis, Charlie, Marvi, Lew and Christian (Oz).
He is survived by: the mother of his children Johanna Conran (Joan) of Harbour Main; his significant other Sheila Rideout; his sister Winnie; his children, Mac (Laura Park), Vonnie (Jim Learie), Arch, Winnie (Ron Rose) and Mary; his grandchildren, Glynne (David Halley), Solomon Pitcher (Krista), Sara Pitcher (Mitch Steele), James Learie (Alyssa), Matthew Learie (Erin), Amanda Burke (Kenneth), Samantha Matchim (Alex), Johanna Tracy (Ethan) and Rebecca Pike (Adam); and his daughter-in-law Laura Park.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunphy's Funeral Home (366 Conception Bay Hwy, Holyrood, NL A0A2R0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
