He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Edgar Rose and Mary Rose; and his siblings, Alston Rose and Meta Skinner.

He is survived by: his children, Myra (Jeff), Michael and Melissa (Mike); his grandchildren, Alicia (Tyler), Hayley (Trevor), Allison (Ethan), Ryan and Sam; his great grandchildren, Callie, Ben and Luke; his sisters, Marion and Marie; and his close friends, George and Wally.
