It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Hickey (Holyrood, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Patrick and Agatha; and her siblings, Anastasia, Patrick (Rita), Martin (Angela), Jack (Margaret), Frank (Olive) and Hubert. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 14th 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dunphy's Funeral Home (366 Conception Bay Hwy, Holyrood, NL A0A2R0). A funeral mass was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish (85 Harbour Dr, Harbour Main, NL A0A2P0). A burial was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Chapel (85 Harbour Dr, Harbour Main, NL A0A2P0). Covid-19 Restrictions apply, if you wish to attend the funeral mass, please contact the family prior to the service.
