Regina Mercer Obituary

We announce the death of Regina Mercer of Horwood, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 71. Regina will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Purchase and Marion Purchase; her siblings, Tom (Dorothy), Lester, Alex, Eleanor, Alvina and Velma; her grandson Kerry; and her parents-in-law, Johnny and Maude Mercer.

She is survived by: her husband Norman Mercer; her children, Darren (Lynetta), Joanne (Corey), Nadine (Matt), Dede and Amanda; her siblings, Arch (Debbie), Ruth (Wayne), Doris (Ivan), Gladys and Clara; and her grandchildren, Mitchell (Danielle), Tori, Anna, Abby (Nicholas), Jenna, Jared, Tyler, Jackson, Gracie, Adele and Vayda.

Donations in Regina's memory may be given to the Salvation Army or Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Horwood.
