She is survived by: her significant other Clarence Short; her children, Vernon (Anna), Wanda, Roy, Monty (Karen), Bruce (Wendy), Dennis (Lois), Rosalind (Peter) and Brad (Sharon); her son-in-law Wayne; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Ron), Jackie (Allen), Estell, Peter (Tara), Richard, Jason (Mireille), Amy (Kevin), Niki (Chris), Lee, Heather (Andrew), Gavin (Melisa), Clint (Sarah), Samantha, Mitchel, Haley (Tyler), Daniel (Madeline) and Cole; her brother Steve Gavin (Marjorie); and her brother-in-law William Gillingham.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church.
