She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Leyte; her parents, Edgar Waterman and Mary Coles Waterman; and her siblings, Joyce (Blake), Hilda (Osmond), Nelson and Pleaman Waterman.
She is survived by: her children, Trudy, Archie (Catherine), Clayton (Caroline), Garry (Betty), Rex (Lorie) and Collin (Tanya); her grandchildren, Ashley, Stacey of Stephanie, A. J., Devon, Matthew, Katie, Jenna and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Brody, Taylor, Alexander, Chase, Brooklyn, Callie and James; and her siblings, Janet (Torraville), Joan (Burry), Katheline (West) and Glayds (Freake).
